Hello world, welcome to the future. It is officially 2010, and while I am still internally debating whether to pronounce it “two-thousand-ten” or “twenty-ten,” I am almost positive that this will be a great year.

Anyway, the main purpose of this post is for me to tell you all that I indeed watched all the Doctor Who 2009 specials, including “The End Of Time.” I plan to write about it soon, when I have the time, and talk about David Tennant and his Doctorial awesomeness.

But uh, how about that regeneration?

I am still unsure about how I feel about Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor. I saw the trailer for the fifth season of Doctor Who, and he does seem sort of fun, but this is simply because he is The Doctor. And really? Geronimo?

I don’t know about you guys, but I am certainly not going to let “GERONIMO!” be The Doctor’s catchphrase. Christopher Eccleston’s “FANTASTIC!” was great, and David Tennant’s, well, everything was brilliant. “Geronimo” seems really lame.

Whatever though. In the words of The 10th Doctor, ALLONS-Y! 2010, here we come.

Christmas is over and done with. Finally. I’m really a scrooge during this time of year. The only thing I enjoy about this time of year is the happy feeling I get from the people around me.

This morning I woke up, happy to have an extra hour of sleep (thank you DST), but realized that it’s already November. This means the following:

• About a month and a half until this semester is over
• A lot of crappy Christmas music will begin playing everywhere
• The winter air will take over New Jersey
• I have to bust out the hoodie-scarf
• I need to invest in a brand new peacoat
• Hoodie wearing is not looked upon as weird during this season
• I realize how much I hate the mall all over again

DEEP BREATHS, HENNY BABY. 2010 is gonna be okay.
